The therapist
Fifteen years as a beauty therapist. Trained in France. Five-star hotels across the French Alps, treatment rooms built for excellence.
The industry runs on packed schedules and upsells. I lived it for years, client after client, the same pressure at the end of every treatment: what can we sell them now.
I wanted something different. So I created my own rituals for every treatment. Not a number on a schedule. Someone cared for.
The curator
On my last trip to France, I found a basket at my grandmother's house, left behind seven years before. I brought it back with me.
Everyone asked where it came from. I looked it up: Hipanema, a French-designed brand, known best for its jewellery. What it led me to was something more than one basket. Belonging.
Two French women, meeting on Ipanema beach in Rio. French chic, Brazilian soul. My partner is Brazilian. It wasn't a coincidence. It was where I already stood.
Where they meet
Goddess Rituals holds both. The therapist who chose presence over pressure, now practicing holistic care. The curator whose eye strangers stopped to ask about.
